The VB's front doors need to be slammed shut (I understand this was a common issue). What some people have done (as passenger) to my door though is they have pushed on the area above the handle to slam it - and now it's dented! Similar issue on drivers door, though not anywhere near as bad.

PDR can't get it out; car is otherwise a minter. Worth getting it done properly? I reckon no more than $500 at bodyshop (I want it done in 2 pack like rest of car). There are other door dings in that door and just the door adjacent....

Do other people have issue with dents around door handle from people slamming the doors shut?

i could turn my car on while it was in park, and it would occasionally 'surge', but as soon as i put in into drive it would turn off.
its not the first time my car has turned off/stalled, it has been on going for 4 months or so and has progressively gotten worse, to the point of not going at all.

dad seems to think its the cam sensor, but i am thinking computer, as i had an astra that did the same thing. although i have heard that it is uncommon for VTs to do this.

say your selling your car. you've never been in accident, but the previous owner had written the car off.

you not being a panel beater and not knowing any different you tick 'No' and the new buyer takes it to vicroads and they tell the buyer that it has been written off, can he get his money back?


i was always under the impression, in a private sale its the buyers responsibility to check the car is mechanically A1 and its history.

OTHER INFO: hey guys up for sale is a used but still like new set of mace engineering 1.98:1 ultra high ratio rockers to suit ecotecs from vs to vx and vy to vz series 1 if you slot the pushrod holes in your heads. great boost in power ranging from 16 to 26kw maybe more depending on current mods to engine.
included are the modified rockers and pedastals, 80thou thick crow cams pushrods and rocker bolts.

Just want to know what shock brands are the best to buy for a lowered Clubsport. Just a ride that has FE2.
Money is a bit tight ATM and in need of some shocks. I'd like to by Monroe GT SPORT, but Monroe have just had a increase in $$ and will be another on 1st June 13. Monroe warranty is 3 year or 60 K. I have heard of Boge and they're round $500, Pedders bout the same for a set. Last resort is the ULTIMA Lowered range. Cheapest set I've found is on eBay for $295 Complete with Boots, Stops and Bolts + Free Postage. 3 year/100 K

A few months ago i had my alternator warning light come on a couple times for a couple seconds while driving to work, never came back again after that for like a month, then happened again, and over the last 3-4months slowly got closer and closer together, now it's happening every 1-2 weeks.

Everything I've read from here suggests that it's the regulator/brushes, now with a bit of soldering apparently a can replace the brushes pretty easy, but were i got confuses a bit is, does a new regulator assemble include new brushes, or are they separate, so it's one or the other.

Basically I'm wanting to confirm that, if i bought a new regulator will that be replacing the the bushes as well, does it come with new ones already houses in it. Or do i need to still do the bushes as well?

And if doing the regulator does also do the bushes at teh same time, would this be the best option to get? Genuine Bosch Alternator Regulator RE72 Ford Holden VS VY Mitsubish Toyota More | eBay
