A BOV would need to be a plumbed back type, not vented to atmosphere, or the mixture goes to hell each time the throttle is backed off. Probably not quite the sound you're looking for.
I see this all the time with Skylines where an atmo BOV is fitted in place of the factory plumbed in item, then the owner complains of stalling and generally crappy idling.
No problem if its using a MAP sensor air flow signal like the old VP's though.

I agree. any metered air that is vented to atmosphere will cause the mixture to richen on closed throttle, deceleration...basically whenever it is vented to atmosphere, the ecu is being 'lied to'.....tonsta, i also cannot see how a bov could vent any air on the pressure side of the blower if the TB is pre blower, unless there is some sort of reversion in the system? is it really neccessary on a factory blown 6 anyway?
