We have heard of 3 Super6 Vehicles around Australia being fitted with successful LPG Gas conversions. Although in a situation of potential Back-Fire there could be some serious damage, there hasn't been any reports of a backfire yet, so although it is potentially risky there seems to be a few prepared to take the risk in search of greater mileage.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Tonsta

Smile S/C V6 on LPG

Thanks Tonsta,
It was just a thought .The S/C V6 was going into a 2001 Rodeo with a gas system installed by Holden.
I might have to look at injection.
Cheers,
Doug

Talking S/C V6 on LPG

The Rodeo had a 3.2 V6 with a rod hangin outa the side.I have the chance to buy a Commodore S/C V6 to put init. I found a low mileage unit that had a bit of an oil problem (Rock hit sump) but the old farmer stopped it before it locked up.Holden replaced it with a crate motor.
So while I have the chance lets make this Rodeo Dance !!! Thanks for the interest

Yeah I know I could have fixed the Rodeo V6 ,but I just like the old Com V6.
The Rodeo block survived but it has a 5 cent size hole just above where the sump bolts on .I can easily weld that up for anyone who wants it.
And did you know that a Com V6 T5 bolts streight up to the 3.2.Same bolt pattern.
So I have a 3.2 motor and auto trans if you know anyone who might want it.
Cheers,
Doug.
