Wheels Dec 1997 States 8.2 seconds for the VT S/C
These are slightly heavier car.

Done a little comparo between the VY S and the VS Calais L67's

It's hard to believe that the VY is nearly a full second quicker than the VS when it has 103 extra kilo's !!!!

I reckon thats the difference between 95 RON to 91 RON... I speculate Holden used 91 RON for the reason that 95 RON might have made the 5L v8 look more like the N/A v6 when the S/C v6 first came out.
