Default Optimax EXTREME , Opinions??

Hi ppls,
Just wondering what your opinions would be on the 100 octane Shell extreme fuel with 5% ethenol is with running in an L67 ? would 5% ethenol damage your motor ? would there be any advantages using the extreme fuel over the 98 octane fuels already out there ?,

My understanding is that up to 10% ethanol is fine for cars built after 1985... basically any fuel injected car should be fine. It is indeed higher octane and for that reason I reckon it would be good for the SC engines. I would definitely try it out in mine if I stumbled across a place that sold it

Just ran a tank of optimax extreme 100 and could not tell any difference ( maybe after 3 tanks we will see ? ) to the normal optimax, i'll try about 4 tanks but it seems BP ultimate wins again ( In My Opinion anyway )

I've not tried the Optimax out here yet, but the stuff sold in the UK used to make a noticeable difference to my car there. No ethanol in it in the UK though.
