Second Part:
1. if i was to take a stock sc6 and put an intercooler on it, what sort of power could i get approximately (what would the potential be to increase the boost to)?
2. would it be better to go the platinum pack straight up or the intercooler pack?
Other questions
how much modification would i need to beat xr6, xr6t, xr8, or ls1/2 - all stock.
what i am hoping to achieve along the way is a very quick & reliable car.

Heya Jazack,
Sorry for the delayed reply, we thought the other guys had answered most of your questions but there seems to be a few still required.
Part One:
1) Prices Quoted on our website are for supply only.
2) Yes the installation is usually done DIY as it's all very easy and come with very comprehensive instructions.
3) We have a few recommended workshops in QLD we can direct you to upon purchase to give you info of the ones in your nearest locality.
Part Two:
1) You could increase boost to 17-19psi on the stock engine and easily extract an extra 100-110kW over Stock to end up at 270-280kW easily.
2) The items in the Platinum Pack are usually pre-requisites for the Intercooler, so if you are keen on cooler and have a totally stock engine we would more recommend something like Boost ($595), Rockers ($795), Intercooler ($2850)
= $4250 as the very minimum items required for 270kW
NB: You would need to upgrade your exhaust to reach these results which you could either arrange locally or we have FIT Exhaust components also available.
Part Three:
xr6, xr6t, xr8, or ls1/2 and wrx are all pretty easy to beat with a Super6 in the Traffic-Light to Traffic-Light duels like 0-80km/h and 0-110km/h the Super6 is very impressive, this is where it has the advantage over most other performance cars on the road due to the PD Supercharger being so instantaneous and responsive so you have power off the line all the way from 1200rpm to 5500rpm.
Most of the other performance cars need to get to 3,000rpm to 3,500rpm before they start to shine and by then the Super6 is already 3-4cars lengths in front so they have a bit of catching up to do and sometimes they will not catch you in the 0-80km/h limit and even to the 110km/h limit depending on the amount of mods tot he Super6 and mods to the contender.
A Super6 with just a few simple mods, Boost, Rockers, CAI for around $1500 will pretty much win most street competitions due to the Super6's strong capabilities off the line and midrange.
Super6's are one of the most reliable engines ever put into the Commodore. We have not seen or heard of any common complaints or faults with the Super6 and we've been dealing with them for quite some time now.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Tonsta
