    anyone willing to do a cash job on installing an air horn into my VY Exec. im located in Camden

    You don't need an auto elec to do a air horn, i thing autobarn charges $33-50 to intsall anyway.

    auto elec would charge u alot more than what Smit has just stated.

    When i worked at autobarn i wish i could $120 for installing them! also the auto elec probalbly wouldent get to many air horn installs as autobarn.

    go the autosparky for sure, atleast you know it will get done properly. $80 seems reasonable as im an auto elec apprentice and we charge $90 an hour labour. maybe if you mount the horns and compressor you could save a little money.

    seriously, you can mount and install them yourself. No auto leccy needed there. To get them to work just disconnect the wire off your stock horn and place it on the compressor of your new horn + earth if needed.

    i have installed airhorns myself, not hard at all, under the bumper so it cant be seen! obscured came handy when i got that canary for bald tyres etc.... >;(

    im a lazy bastard, but if you were close to melbourne, i would send you to my bro he is an auto electrician and likes to work on the bloody things.

    i just made a wire to my horn relay, earthed, and it works with my factory horn pad

    i finally got the horn in.. me and my mate were bored yesterday so we just tried and we succeeded =] thanks for the rite ups
