    Default fuel pills

has anyone used or heard of fuel pills. the pills help in the raising of fuel say from 95 to 98.
not only are they suppost to raise the fuel raiting but increase the efficiency of the burn to help create betta economy and use less fuel.

Heard of them, and like most fuel saving miracle devices, they are a scam.

sounds like on mythbusters they put napthalene moth balls in the tank and it actually worked! I'd just put 98 RON in though stuff risking it

heard of them and seen them at a motor show at the Melbourne Exhibition Center, not worth what you pay for the savings, and yeh if you use a 95 octane just run a 98 once a month just to clean it out a bit, or the best is octane boost additives if you want to up the octane rating, used these in a vr v6 i had and yes you could feel the difference once it settled in the tank, i don't think it would give better fuel economy or that much better anyway, will burn a bit better and clean the chamber a bit being a higher octane rating, but not a huge difference.

i think most of the balls are tollulene, the stuff does work, alot of dirt circuit racers use it due to not being able to run on avgas anymore. it does increase the octane level of the fuel, how much im not 100% sure.

Unburned fuel in your exhaust chemically destroys the catalysts in the converter.
