Commodore Diffs

I'm considering hot rodding my 2wd hilux with a v6 and auto.

I'm thinking of dropping a commodore diff in so the entire drive train will be commodore.
But I want to keep the hilux 5 bolt pattern on the wheels (which is the same as ford 5 bolt pattern.)

I'm looking for opinions about re-drilling the diff to take the hilux wheels.

Or would it be better to make adaptor plates with hilux studs that bolts onto the commodore diff?


btw, anyone got a cheap car for wrecking?
