Unhappy My 99 VT Needs HELP!

Hi my 99 VT commodore has a few problems and i have taken it to the mechanics and they didnt bother helping me out they just told me to take it to some other places.

    1. I loose power from it of the start i floor it to the bottom it takes 2-5 seconds till it actually kicks in and gets its power. It has a very very deep sounds when i accelerate i thought it is some electrical fault of selecting the correct gears. if im on a road doing 80km/h it makes that deep sound until i drop it into 3 (this is an auto) then it stops struggling and i get power again.

    2. I have a vaccum sucking noise coming from the engine when i accelerate its quite loud and easily heard inside and outside i did once put and aftermarket air pod on it but then removed it and purchased and original one for it. Now all it does is the vaccum sound. I did remove the metal part which goes to the filter and the engine and inside i noticed it had 3 resistors and one was burned out im not sure if thats the problem.

    3. The accelerator cable bit at the end to tighten the actual thread is made of plastic and i noticed it is snapped but i dont want to purchase a whole new cable just for that and im wondering if that can be replace some how it is still on it but the cable is quite loose. Do i have to replace it?

    4. Starting is a problem for me i was told it was the immobiliser which is true my keys dont work no more and i have to open my car with the key which does not deactivate the immobiliser but sometimes the key works and when i go to start it takes about 20 secs of turnover till it starts so this is when the immobiliser is deactive. The starter motor is new the sparks are new to i wouldnt know what else it needs to start properly.

Thanks for reading this i know its quite alot but i want my VT to work again It has 258,000 on the odometer and it is quite old but i love it and just wished it could give what it use to.
