does anyone know what the fastest na v6 in the contry is. ive herd its v6 vengence from street commodores with a 13.63 but unsure if anyones beaten it yet

V6 Vengeance
It is an ordinary looking VN Commodore Sedan that has been extensively modified from its standard formation to result in a real powerhouse of performance. The whole "V6 Vengeance" project was birthed as a random idea which quite quickly became adopted as Australia's new V6 Project story. Initially undertaken to document in detail the results from typical performance upgrades that could be fitted...
Pull the other one
This thing isnt n/a
dale bickham hasnt been in australia for a long time so i doubt his vn is the fastest now
Who cares really? Even a fast N/A V6 is still going to be comparativly slow in the scheme of things. The ONLY way to get a V6 fast is to boost it up.![]()
Too true, and then throw it in a torry!
But yeah seriously you'd be a little loopy if you were to build up a n/a 6, when it's so much more rewarding to stick boost up it! Tbh, i havent heard of any "fast" n/a 6's worth noting, but there are plenty of very quick boosted 6's getting around.
someone must know who holds the record
yeah but as far as i know street commodores had the record with v6 vengence with a 13.63et before the turbo and nos so what i want to know is what the quickest na v6 COMMODORE is ? sorry i didnt post it properly first
A guy on SC "Jas.G" has the record with a 12.376, he's made the Vengeance NA record and everyone else just look plain stupid. I believe this is a 4.2 with a decent cam in a VN, you can go read up on it on SC

Never tell your problems to anyone...20% don't care and the other 80% are glad you have them.

holly shit thats fast for a v6
it was before they chucked a turbo on. as you said yourself, they did it to document the impact each modification had on performance. the turbo wasn't the original plan, things just progressed to the point where you'd easily think the end result was the intention all along
as for fastest n/a NOW, i don't think anyone's even attempting to claim that crown, seems everyone's jumping on the boost bandwagon
just pointing out, at no time did vengeance ever have a blue bottle. the whole idea was to remain 100% daily drivable (except when fitted with slicks at a legal off-street racing event)
