Hey, I have bought a new diff for my VR SS, apparently it isn't ABS. (something i was only told was an issue today)
Is it possible to put the non ABS diff into the ABS car? Of course it will bolt straight in, but does the non ABS one have the mounting points for the sensors? Etc, Etc.
Thanks in advance.
i cant comment on a live axel type, but on irs their two plastic plugs with the wire's that slip into
a collet with retaining clips.
these are located on the outside of the diff housing, "not at the axel's".
i cant imagine holden making two types of diff, you may find the standard diff will have the holes but made redundant.
Research has shown that men usually sleep on the right side of the bed.
Even in our sleep we happen to be right.

you may have to swap the gears/centers over if you get really stuck and keep your housing
essentially i bought a diff that i was told came from a VP SS which do have ABS, the guy brought a live axle diff to my house. I told him it was the wrong one and he said he had an IRS diff at home which he wanted more money for. Wasnt happy at all at this stage, he then told me that the one he has at home was from a non abs car.
Either i accept this diff and possibly have a bunch of head****s or don't accept it and get my money back.
