Old Muscle Project
Me and my old man are looking at starting an old muscle prject on a car..
we are yet to decide which car we are going to work on. im just looking for ideas..
been thinking along the lines of some holden muscle, just after your suggestions as to what car you reckon would suffice..
the plans for the car will be a worked 350, chroming, bare metal respray in a custom mica colour, a mental sound system as im good with that kinda stuff, centrelines and full retrim of the interior!
so yeah just pass us some ideas if your willing

HZ indeed, worst H series EVER. HQ is good but the 67-8 Camaro is pretty much the best thing GM ever made so if you can afford that go with one of those

a VH sle, with a LS3 with massive cam, head work and carby'd...would be pretty cool
or drop an ls1 or ls2 in something old skool and chuck on one of those new 6/71 charger kits that have just come out

Get a statesman..........Seen a few HJ/HXs goin pretty cheap lately in good nic. HQ and HZ statos are a little more pricey I think.
And WB statos are pretty cheap and easy to find in good nic, however I don't reckon they look as good as the earlier statesmans.
But yeh, stato is definitely something different, you hardly ever see em on the streets these days, nor in magazines etc.
