    Default moving washer bottle

hey guys just fitted a supercharger to my vs 5Lt. and the piping that goes from the back of the supercharger to behind the headlight where a pod filter is on the end of the pipe. problem is the pipe gets in the way of the neck of the washer bottle, so i took the washer bottle out for now, but i want to put it back in somewhere as i do use it pretty much every time i drive for a nice and clean windscreen...

now i dont really want to put it in my engine bay, because it will most likely stand out like dog balls and i dont like that...so does anyone have any good idea's as to where to put it?

below is the pic of of the piping that goes to behind the headlight

    Thanks in advance

There's a brand called 'NICE' which do aftermarket washer bottles. I bought one from Autopro for about $20 and just gonna fit it underneath the gaurd....not sure how I'll keep it topped up tho, didn't think of that lol....will be a bugger getting the watering can under there haha.

Without checking, dont the VN's (might only be Series 1) have the washer bottle connected to the Overflow bottle, actually so do VK's. Could do something like that, still look factory and easy to top up. I would imagine the VN washer bottle wold fit straight in.

Tom is right, the vn-vp have the washer bottle behind the overflow.... or have you thought about just moving the washer bottle to the otherside near the battery?

I've got mine in the boot. You have to extend the wires to the pump and also extend the hose to carry the water, but overall it is a pretty easy thing to do

    LMAO....
really? weird, i thought that side of the strut top would have the same shape.... weird! looks like just moving the factory on seems to be the cheapest idea?

there is only one way i can think of doing it,

it is very cheap, am trying it today

the only reason you have to remove the washer box is because of the stupid bloody neck on it to fill it up right, so what if we cut the neck to about 1 inch off the top of the bottle, then get a peace of flexible plastic tubing as thick as the washer bottle neck so it will slide on top with a clamp around it? because its not taking serious pressure and heat, that way you could have it coming out where ever you want, and for a lid, cut the top of the washer bottle off about a inch, then do the same as connecting it to the bottle, just chuck a clamp on it, i might actually do this today and post pictures tonight of it, might seem a bit dodgy but hell, we all gotta live by a budget and some are tighter than others, like mine for instance haha
