What kind of spoiler is this??
Hi all, just wondering if anyone can tel me what kind of spoiler this is??? saw it on a VT executive down at my local bunnings and would like 2 try and find the same 1 for my ride (same model)

to me it looks like a vx clubby spoiler in the second pic ..

Its definitely not a VX Clubsport spoiler. It does resemble one, however the VX Clubsport spoilers are a lot bigger. The flares on the ends are a lot more distinctive.
I would be more inclined to say its a VX S Pac spoiler.

I think its a VX S-pac spoiler, as dad had it on his VX and that had an s-pac body kit on it.
Looks like a very unusual spoiler...i'd say its definately not a S-Pac spoiler but might be a custom fit.
VX SS / VX S i think there the same
If its got Wheels or Boobs its gonna cost ya money
i would say its pretty close to a VT clubsort

it doesnt have the same looping style the picture does but the ends are the same.

Actually theyve been different since they first came out. The VS had the "bobtail" lip on the "S" whereas the SS had that horrible looking thing. Youd just assume it would be the same as usually the "S" has the "SS" kit, odd theyd make 2 spoilers.

That ugly thing in the OP doesn't follow the boot contour like a factory job would. If you could look directly downwards on the boot, you find that the factory spoilers keep the same profile as the bootlid. That thing doesn't appear to do that. Could be from something altogether different, not a Commodore.
yeah i knew VR/VS were different there pretty obvious didnt know VT onwards were though i've nvere taken that much notice tbh.

Yeah that would be an aftermarket job. Althought theres not enough pics of it to see. My guess would be if this guy has gone to the trouble of finding an aftermarket spoiler, why doesnt it have the entire kit?
ALso its not a VT Manta or a VT OR VX Xu6 as they had the same kits and wings as clubsports, on the topic of VT Manta's... what a disgusting looking car.

manta = executive with 5litre and a dodgy kit there is a reason they stopped making them the entry level HSV, yuk.

The VS Manta looked ok... its was pretty much an SS that you have to pay more for because it has a HSV badge.
