bairnsdale drags

hi did any one go to the bairnsdale drags on the 24/10/2009?

it was a good meet, not the biggest but had some nice cars there

yeah mate i went, there were a few nice cars there. that dark green torana was a rocket, didnt even need to rev heaps and make a racket to go quick. i liked it.

i dont understand why everyone puts 253's in their drag hacks, why not a 308?

Holden made alot of 253s and alot of people have them in their shed, what else can you do with them?. 308's are fairly expensive. Still I don't remember seeing a 253 at the local track, ever

there musta been 4 or 5 different cars with 253's there. yeah theres heaps of 253's around, once found one on the side of the road haha and now its in the vb commodore that i did up for my p's but cant drive

2 v6's, one was a vn which wasnt very strong and the other was a turbo ecotec in a sigma. that was a cool car.

yea was to many 253's out there but all and all was a good meet i loved the torana and the the tonner that both had worked 632 big block chevs in them but the tonner blow up first time he hit full throtel. ill post some pics after school.

which torana are you talking about with the bbc in it? i thought both the 4 doors had sbc's in them.

yeah that tonner was a beast, was on meth and nitrous. pity it threw a rod out of the block, thats not cool.

yea was the tonner ute that stuffed up he sayed that it was $50,000 down the drain he was saving 6 year just for motor
