pod filter better or worse ???

ive just got a 96 vs and i put in a podfilter although i dont hav a box for it, will it be better then the panel 1 or just a waste of money ????

Ehhh, i'll wait for others to reply first. Lots of people might say "ffs search" so short answer to your question might be to remove the pod and put a OTRCAI.

dont bother with the pod if u dont have box to block the heat, put a panel filter on as the pod will only suck hot air in

If you want to run a pod, invest in a MACE engineering enclosed pod set up ..... works real well in my VR, is a perfect fit and performs much better than the otr i had previosly..

agree, i had a panel setup with otr much better with the mace enclosure with a k&n pod, if u cant afford one of these go with the panel setup

and i was wonderin how much for a half exhaust system or cat bak watevs they call em would cost me

I am guessing about 200 to 250 for the cat back.
But as for the pod. There are plenty of guys and gals on here that have tried, some have been successful others not so. Have a quick search and learn from others mistakes.
But all in all as others have already said. If you really wont a POD then you need to shield the heat from the filter other wise you intake temp will rise and lose power.

catbacks can vary depending wat u gunna build it out of, the one on my 323 atms round 300$ and its just a 2" steel one. Reali gud upgrade though definately look into one
