vr immobiliser?
hay i own a 94 vr acclaim, and changed the battery terminals the other day. and now for some reason i wont start and hazard lights stay on. the petrol pump still whirrs but wont even try and turn over? would this be the immobilizer? if so how can i fix it? PLEASE HELP ITS DRIVING ME UP THE WALL
Check the connections on the terminals. May not be getting a good connection also check the earth.

sounds like youve got an aftermarket alarm. im guessing youve never disconnected the battery since having the car.
at some stage beofre you bought it, the immobiliser was turned off, disconnecting the battery resets it and re-arms the system.
your going to have to either take it out or get it taken out.
your kidding. is there anway to reset it or bypass that?
