hey guys i was removing my throttle body and more last night off my vp to remove my air intake restricter and i found with the plastic intake hose connected to the throttle body had traces of OIL!! in it. checked the rest of the hose but there was nothing more. it only seemd to just catch in the krinkled part on the hose connected to my throttle body. the only other traces of any sort of oil i could find was tiny splatters on the inside flap of the throttle body.
i cleand my throttle body and removed the traces of oil on all part and re-installed it all. also the oil that was caught was very clean oil!
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? can someone please help![]()
?can someone help?
could it be from an oiled air filter? like a K&N?
no its a standard intake and filter
Anyone????
have u changed your engine oil lately?
yes... very recently
not 100% sure, just a thought- but my old ecotec did that and it was a stuffed pcv or pvc value, not sure if yours has one or not.
If not that it 'may' be from too much blow bye and oil's getting pushed out rocker cover breather. . Start it and take off oil cap and see if much air is getting blown out.
will do and will get bak 2 ya
cheerz
sounds like PCV to me
whats pcv?
Research has shown that men usually sleep on the right side of the bed.
Even in our sleep we happen to be right.
