    Default Memcal for vq 5000i series 1

    hi,
    I'm just wondering if anyone knows what computer should be in a vq 5000i series 1. currently it has the memcal chip ASBX 9285 , which fried, so im assuming its the wrong one? any help would be great!

    The HSV VQ 5000i with the red engine covers (200kw engine) ?, that should have memcal ATFL 4424, ASBX is the standard tune for all 1990 ish VN V8's. Although that has nothing to do with a fried memcal

    ah yeah good thinking foam. 5000i should have a different tune, although isnt ATFY a v6 tune?

    yeah my car is a series 1 vq hsv 5000i so what chip should it have? and where can i get one?

    yeh looks killa mate but by the looks of it ya need a new xmember see the photo how the drivers side wheel is not centre have had two cars with the same prob
