ok so my cousin has been pestering me to put a VE clubsport body kit on my supercharged s-pack. one day when i have money to throw away...i would like to get a custom body kit. but he's so insistant on the VE kit. Personally...i HATE it when people put modifications simply from other model commodores on to theirs (mainly monaro mods). i don't want someone to look at my car and go..oh hey he's got monaro tail lights, VE rims, a clubsport body and a monaro bonnet. i want someone to look at my car and wonder where the hell i got what i did. so far i put on 20" rims and a few other small mods which in time i'll put up on my profile. If i had a standard commodore i wouldn't even think of putting a different body kit on. i think it's simply ridiculous. at the moment i'm working on moding my grille. i had the idea in my head for years and just recently i saw someone with it. so i'm going to get a move on with that. so i was just wondering what people thought...VE kit on a VT? or not?
no, it would look aids

hes done well with the rims! same ones i got
i must admit...i don't mind the look of the VE kit...i just don't want to do it simply coz it's from a VE.anyone know of any custom kit sites? if i do ever decide on a body kit, it'll be something unique that hopefully no one will have...on any model commodore
If you want ppl laughing at you go nuts
bodykits are just shit
right...i'm convinced. no body kit
cheers
i would have to say..... Fail. def not the thing to get the looks.. if u want looks you will get them, but i dont think they be good looks...
GET YA GRUNT OUT!!™
i think the ve kits look tough as nails. would love to hook up my silver vx with a ve clubby kit. go for gold mate. just make sure (like other people are noting) that you do it on a silver model. only time they look good.

They don't look so good, it's why that bloke has shots of his vt in the dark.
A word to the wise ain't necessary - it's the stupid ones that need the advice.Advertisements contain the only truths to be relied on in a newspaper.
Hey come on now body kits look awesome when they are on the car they belong on. Group A, SV5000 etc. But somethings just don't work, like a buisness suit on a scarecrow.... probably just end up with bird shit on it
i think the same as greenfoam the kits that the cars come out with normally set it off, not to say i wouldn't mind a ve clubby kit on my vy ute![]()
I thought about doing the same for my VY, imo it looks just too big n bulky to be on it.. But it's what ever you like in the end..
if you can handle the criticism from some then go for it.
Check out my ride!
theres a white vt for sale just down the road with a VE bodykit and a monaro bonnet. looks rediculous in my honest opinion
see i have to say i dont mind it seen as i brought a vx clubby kitted vs wagon
