what is a kickdown cable?
what is a kickdown cable. my other car has a problem with it i was told.
can someone please expain
its connected to the top of the throttle body where the acclerator cable connects and goes into the gearbox,when you put your foot down,it makes it kickback for more power for example third to second

at the top of your engine where your throttle cable is and the kickdown next to it, the kick down should have an adjustable thread on it, allowing you to tighten or losten the cable, try tightening it
Vs eco 3.8, extractors, 2.75" exhaust, roller rockers, cammed, bored out 20, t5 manual, rolling on king springs all way round with monroe gt shocks all way round, every door has a ding but looks can be very deceaving
