    Default heavy on fuel ????

I cant figure out why my vr is using a weeks worth of petrol in two days, i have tried everything. I have had the scanner on it 5 times and replaced the coolant temp. sender and o2 sensor and changed throttle body and coil pack. I have also checked evry other plug connection and part i can think of including fuel tank and lines. ???

Even air filter and fuel filter?
Have you cleaned out the throttle body?
Not much stuff in the car weighing it down?
    Correct tire pressure?
    New leads and spark plugs?
    Heavy acceloration?

check all vaccum hoses also look at how any vaccum operated controlls are working .my vr would lose up to 150ks per tank and it was always number 1 plug lead

i checked most of the vacuum hoses except the ones for the air and heater controls i,ll have a look at those aswell. I had to replace all the fuel tank breather lines cos had all rotted away to nothing.. but it made no difference any way..

I'm in a similar boat with the daily. VR V6, new fuel pump, filter, cleaned out-fuel lines, new air filter, reco'd injectors, cleaned throttle body, new iac, new tps, new 02 sensor, MSD replacement coils, new map sensor, cai with airbox. New tyres/correct pressure/correct wheel balance, wheel alignment, new diff oil, trans freshly serviced, and all vacuum hoses are new/or checked for damage/wear

All that and Im still lucky to get 350k's to a tank (in a wagon).

    I've almost given up!
