crashed car!!

well i crashed my car! !!!! lucky my engine gear box drive train diff all survived! so im goin 2 get a cheap body n swap it all over. now im thinking of making it better while all the stuff will be out. at the moment ive got a 5.7l ls1 6speed and thinking of selling it and gettin a 6l

Will the engine bolt straight on the existing engine mounts/gearbox?
how much are second hand 6l engines? + where to get
an average price ls1s are selling for.
will the 5.7 computer be right or will i have to get a new 6l computer?

thanx every1. if it is too hard i might just get a cam and heads or something for the ls1, but id like a 6l so i can cam that 1 day

ls1 motors go for around 4k i can get ya a vtss for 4.5k

Mounts will be the same and im pretty sure that the computer will run it with a retune

I'm not sure but depending on what model 6L you get the reluctor ring tooth count is different from a 5.7L. The reluctor ring can be changed on the crank to a 5.7L one.
