Hi all, sorry if this has been asked before but search didnt turn up what i was after,
im looking at ripping out my L67 in my VT and putting a small block carby fed 350 in its place, was wondering if its been done before and if anyone can give me some info on any issues they ran into,
you will need to run it on straight gas to meet the emission side of things
gas is good more octane
well, this is my first real actual power making injected car and i agree injection is good but i hate relying on electrics, but i just love carb v8's ive owned a bronco with a worked 351, patrol with 308, and short stint in a 308 vk
and i miss it, plus i think it would be unique
aside from emmisions and what not as im pretty certain ill get in engineered with ease![]()
has anyone seen of anything like this before
Carby LS1 will be a lot easier to do as no custom gear would be required to get it in there (just find parts from a wrecker). Seen a few places now sell crate carby ls1's.

i like the sound of the carby ls1, is the k-frame the same or different in 6's and 8's?
but preferably i would like an old cast iron 350, as the potential to go huge in cubes is there, and any aftermarket part you could ever think of already been done,
i think i might have a look at the carbed ls thou
look up suburban imports he can get cast iron ls1's they had them in trucks
