Fitting an LS1 into a VK Commodore

Hi Guys, I am building a replica of a VK Group A/3. I was quite shocked at the cost of rebuilding my 5ltr & was quoted up to 8k to overhaul & put a new Cam the motor. I then saw how cheap I could get a wrecked VY SS for and have since had the idea of fitting the engine, 6 speed, LSD etc onto the VK. This is not a backyard project & I have the car at a mates Smash Repairs on its way to a bare metal respray in Formula Blue. I would very much appreciate any help you may be able to provide from your experience.

Help with what?? You haven't actually asked a question.

There's a lot of info on a swap into a VL on another forum (forgot which one, maybe calaisturbo.com?), and this swap has been done heaps. Have a look around, you'll find the info you need on all sorts of forums. There are a couple of good writeups on SC forum, I will provide a rough outline of a swap into a VN once mine is done....
