vs calais problems

While driving the other day my vs calais started running really rough, lost alot of power and has a strange burning like smell coming from underneath the car. I thought it might of been the spark plugs or the fuel filter changed them and still the same problem. Desperately need help

checked to see if your losing alot of oil somewhere onto the manifold? could be the cause of the burning smell
