Looks like a Borg Warner diff, early models used a Salisbury.
You could use anything like 80-140w oil in that.
i emailed the spool guy on ebay and im like can i take it to u and u fit it etc (its a shop)
and this is what he said:
Hi, If your diff is a LSD then I can fit a mini spool, it will cost you $330.00 Drive in Drive out, If not LSD then you will have to fit a Full Spool, this will cast you $550.00 drive in drive out, Please call ------- or 04-------
Thanks
Joe
550 for a 80 dollar spool fitted???????
is he right about the "full spool" thing????????
Yep cause you replace the carrier with a full spool then crown wheel and pinion, have to be adjusted new seals etc.
Be nearly cheaper to buy an lsd salisbury 10 bolt
