I have also placed this up in the vn-vp section, I apoligise, but this is a fairly large amount of coin for me to be dumping into my car so i want to make sure Im not making a mistake
Finially got the coin for a blower kit, Id be extremley keen in meeting up with anyone running one of the raptor or vortech superchargers on a fairly stock engine, and hear any issues you have experianced that i need to be aware of as this is my daily and i cant afford to be off the road to often, ill chuck in a bottle or a carton if you'd take us for a quick drive.
My clubby is stock with 94k on the clock only thing ive done is the suspension, and a 3inch cat back as the retard i bought it off had been driving it with a 7 inch crack in the system,snapped engine mount, trans mount, shocks were completley ***t and no pads so new rotors oh and he had snapped the tab mounted to the seat rail but not botherd to fix it. But he obvisley did some hektic standstill's @$%#%$!
So yer any input or advice from others is appreciated Its going in for transgo st 2 next wed im running 3.27 was considering moving up to 3.7's
You might like to look at a roots system like a Whipple or something from Yella Terra too.
I did but the price starts to get a bit hexy, the raptor kit is pretty cheap and i was told by a tunning shop they could get me the capa kit for 5.5k, Ive only been in strokers never a forced induction setup just wanted to make sure im getting what i want if i had money to burn id have looked more closey at the yt setup as id imagine the torque from lwr in the rpm would be much higher to that of a sidemount, but if i bump up to 3.7s in the rear with either the raptor or capa kit im hoping itll liven it up as at the moment its a slug
