    Default HELP! coolent pissin out everywhere (ecotec)

    hey guys my daily driver vs wagon has a problem, the coolent/water is pissin out almost as fast as im puttin it in!

    its coming from above and behind the brand new waterpump but i cant see where exactly, its the first v6 ive owned so i dont really know my way around them hopefully someone here knows where its coming from, i pulled the waterpump out to make sure it had a good seal when i put it back on but still the same thing

    can you see it running down the engine? front or side?
    all your hoses tight,welsh plugs still intact

    yeah i can see it running down the engine on the drivers side, and yeah i checked all the hoses

    have you taken the cover off the motor and checked the thermostat where the top hose goes in?
    Need some parts for my VH 253:
    Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
    Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
    PM with any info.

    yeah the thermostat was changed aswell but it was a second hand one... might be a dodgy one, but i cant see water coming out from near there

    is the thermo stat hosing ok though? put your thermostat in boiling water see if it opens up

    turns out it was the timing cover ... this is gunna be expensive for a bunky work hack :-(
