I have seen it done. From memory it is a pretty easy swap over.

yep everything swaps over no problems. Exept where the sides of the front bumper goes on because the vp has like a bit where it slides on and the vr has bolts that come up thru the bottom 2 a piece of metal that is behind the guard. The bit behing the guard can come off so its easier 2 take that off and swap it over aswell. Dont 4get 2 take the reo bar off of the vr 2 put on the vp
Wrecking VL factory V8 only a few bits left still have full dash/crash pad
and have a vk 202 motor and 5 speed Make an offer want it gone

my two cents too, ID try and put the VR Kframe in as well as the VR struts and all the front suspension and brakes. the vr has a wider front track so will make ur VP handle much better, however the strut tops are different, im doing the same conversion except im putting my VN adjustable strut tops into my VR so i have some castor adjustment. and so far iv discovered that the the bearing that the strut actually bolts to are slightly different sizes, and so will have to be pressed and changed over so they can bolt up.

my reason for stating this, i tried to put some VN guards on a VR once, and the VRs wheels stood proud of the guards, and vice versa, vr guards on VN suspension, make the wheels look like theyre sunk in. its a personal taste issue i have where i like the tires to be flush with the guards....... u may not be bothered by it, but i notice things like that....
