    was just wondering will a B&M pro ratchet shifter work in a VR

    Be carefull as cops will defect you for not having a light on the gear selector indicator.

    Once they see the shifter some sort of defect will be handed out, be careful mate.

    will any modds have to be done to get it to fit ?
    the guy at autobarn said it wouldnt fit as the shifter is
    run by cable and the box is hydaulic or some shit like that

    old mate at autobarn is full of it, so long as u have the right shifter and cable bracket and actuator arm to suit your T700/4L60E it will hook up fine. the shifter will sit way higher than the stocker unless u make up some sort of fancy bracket/box that has it sitting down in the transmission tunnel a bit

    when buying the shifter as a kit
    do i get the cable bracket ?
    and where would i find the actuator arm ?

    u should, they would want to be including the cable bracket to suit the box the shifter is intended for. i'd be surprised if they didnt

    actuator arm.. i should have said selector linkage but anyway, if the standard one wont work with the new shifter they would want to be supplying that too
