vt v6 eng swap now wont start !!

hey was wondering if any one could help me . i did an engine swap in a vt v6 and now in wont run ,start to fire then just shuts off , the new v6 came out of a vx but everything was changed on the eng including the wiring harness , does any body no if i still have to take it to Holden and get it re coded or what ever they do ? any info would be great thanks, daniel

have you tried running the diagnostics on it? to see what codes come up?

I remember once, i was doing something on my engine, and forgot to plug the Airflow meter back in... the car started, ran... and a few seconds later, stalled... plugged it back in... engine ran fine.

i dont have any diagnostics or anything i thought i could just plug it all in and it would go . i have checked and recheck all week i have defiantly not missed anything . i think the computer needs to be re mapped . i just dont understand how the ecu knows the eng is changed .....

i know with the VS you just connect 2 pins on the diagnostic connector, and the "check engine" light will flash codes that tell you what is wrong... so i assume the VT is the same/similar?

Looked like it was a Computer problem
You need the Vt computer for the vts
