Doesn anyone know if its hard to install 1.9:1 roller rockers and valve springs on an ls1 or is it better to get a mechanic to do it

Now I am assuming you have a stock LS1(Not a L76 or L98 6.0L) but the 5.7L 346ci... Yes, then I think 1.9's should be OK provided the length of the push rods have not/are not being changed as well.
Personally I would have gone 1.8's, Double Springs(>.600lift) and new hardend push rods same length. But if you go for a cam in the future the 1.9's might need to be re-thunk a little as it could cause valves hitting the top of pistons territory on an LS1.
(Disclaimer:- I am no mechanic and what ever has been shown/said here is on your head not mine, so get a qualified and experienced LSx mechanics opinion if unsure.)
Nah I was not gonna get a cam that's why I was hound for 1.9s but thank you for your advice. They reco
Mend new valve springs which I can just look on google on how to insert them and I think you need a special tool maybe
I know for the ecotech you need some spring clamps to get them out, I'm assuming these will be the same for the ls1, do not hold me to this.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
