Default This is what I get for parking at bunnings...

Ducked in to get a fan to mount on the wall in the kids room, come out and this is what I find

Someone in a blue car has left me a present where my rear bumper joins the panel, but not their name or anything I drove around like a crazy person looking for blue cars with some tungsten silver on their bumper for like an hour ready to grab the bolt cutters from the boot and remove someones opposible thumbs

Someone did that to me at the Croydon/Dorset Golf course, dented panel, paint ripped and scuffed.

Tell your mates to keep an eye out; a couple years back a mate of mine parked outside his work and upon leaving found some sweet scratches up the front panel and driver door, lined with a green paint. 2 weeks later saw a green berina with a chewed up front-right panel and a nice silver lining to match his car parked outside the post office; took her plate numbers and immediatley made the 50m walk to the police station, the woman's insurance paid out and she got a hefty fine for not leaving her details. A**holes.

First mistake was going to Bunnings, rip-off artists.

Yup, bunnings wont be able to do anything for you. Years ago, old man's car, brand new, 3 days old, parked at bunnings to get some shit, came out and somebody had keyed the whole drivers side, every panel front to back. People are ####'s with no respect for other peoples belongings. Really wish you had of caught them. Would have had some nice earrings to give your wife for valentines day. Nothing says "i love you" like the thumbs of a somebody who's wronged you.

Time to install your own cameras. I caught someone backing into my ute a while back... had a camera running on my dash (long story).

YouTube - Hit and run caught on tape

Fortunately for me, it was at a school, a site I visit regularly, so studied the car well and I went back the next day and looked for the car.
When I found it I noted the no. plates and gave that and the video to the police. Insurance sorted out the rest.

Unless i can find a spot at least 4-5 cars from anyone else i wont park there.
Its not a full proof failsafe but it improves your chances.
