hey guys im wanting some information on nankang tyres. Are they any good? i drive my car hard, so i need to know if there decent
Cheers Jonesy
they are the cheap tyres you put on a car to get thru a rwc when you have sold it. Overall cement would have better road holding imo.

thanks man, i would never buy them but they are coming on the rims that im buying
I used about 3 sets in a row on my car a few years back. Didn't find them to be as shit as most people make out to be (waits for minux to get in on this thread haha)
I only use Falkens now, but i guess for burnouts i'd probably go nankangs again if they were a shitload cheaper

my main concern is do they go well in the wet?

You get exactly what you pay for.
If they cost the same as some other brands, then I'd burn the factory down. But for what they do cost, they're fine.
yeah i was surprised when my mechanic told me they were balled
hey tom, you have the same tyres i had on my ute and i got 7,000km from a full set. how many kays you got on your ute now?
that being said, i had wicked toe out that ate the insides.
most street tyres are pretty terrible when you start to push them hard, i'm hopefully going to try some Khumo KU36 next which are around $200 a corner.
yeah well my 16" potenza's were 250 a corner
Kenda 235/40/18's - $140 a tyre.
Best budget tyre I've come across. No road noise, not too aggressive tread pattern. Good grip.
yeah, i was giving it a bit of a hard time. 294???? mine is on 260 now, lol they used to be the same.
one cheap tyre that wears well but still has a bit of grip (for the price) is the roadstone n7000). i had them all round on my ute after the falkens and probably have 40,000ks on the fronts.
I have Neuton NT5000 on my VT, $150 a corner, wouldn't get any other Tyre - and im always in the hills (pretty much every night) with the whole 'import' scene and they grip like crazy and great in the wet too - normally last about 12000kms - and normally put fronts to back and new ones on the front so by the time the fronts goto the back there about 70% tread.
But i would deff look into themHope this helps!
And a link to sus them

I had nankang whitewalls on my s3 jaguar. They almost killed me turning from a T-intersection into a 70 zone, the rear end just lost all traction and around I went. Previous to those tyres the Jag handled perfectly and I'd driven her like a madman and she'd never lost traction once. I'd personally never buy them again.
