    Default Xforce exhaust problems.

So my 2.5" stainless Xforce exhaust showed up today - I wish I could be happy about it but that's not the case. I'll let the photo's do the talking

The whole exhaust seems like it's hanging way too close to the car, the rear muffler hangers don't match up at all either. What gives?

Had EXACTLY the same issues with my Xforce system on a VY sedan.

I had to bend the mounts on the car to suit. Dodgy as.
    Dislike them allot.

I have also noticed that my mates cars that have xforce exhaust have aligning problems. Particularly the tips at the back hanging low and to one side
Hit me up with some reputation points if i've helped you out! (Star in the bottom left!) Cheers!

All I know is this wasn't $250 and I'm pretty pissed over the whole thing. How much did you have to bend them? Did it stop the diff rubber from melting?

Along away, I opend the door and swung off the sill to kick it to one side, and the used a 4ft pry bar to bend it down.
Biggest HEAP OF SHIT system I've ever seen.

I've been pretty vocal over the poor quality for a while. Suprised you havent seen my rants :P

Considering Pacemaker charge $650 for a cat back system, it makes me wonder how Xforce can justify selling their heaps of shit for what they do...

I read that it sounded Like a riced up honda with it's balls dipped in curry somewhere...

I really wanted the pacemaker stainless system, but they don't make it to fit Maloo's so I thought I'd give this piece of shit exhaust system a go - I should have just bitten the bullet and gone Difilippo.

Looks like I'll be the one swinging off a bar tomorrow afternoon.

I got it through Online Performance Autos - based in Victoria. I've sent them an email tonight but I'd hardly expect a response till tomorrow.

Yeah the guy I dealt with buying it was very helpful and even chucked in a set of exhaust gaskets in for no extra cost. I'm worried about that diff rubber though.

Don't stress too much about that rubber it *should* be alright. Just keep an eye out and be a little tuned to any new vibrations.

    Xforce blow good and proper.

i went difilippo twin 3inch on my ss and the only problem i have with it is it sits a little low and occasionally scrapes on the curb at the front of my house and thats with standard suspension so i cant really lower it until i move or something lol its no big deal as it sounds awesome and thats the main thing

Same here. Difilippo 2.5" on mine and only complaint is it sits a little low. Clipped it a couple of times already, sounds nice though.

Which is why I refuse to sell or even compete with X Force.

The price speaks for the quality.

Hey soop, your system is stainless though is it?

Hmm i didn't think xforce was that bad. i've never had them but still... didn't realise it was hard to build/mount a exhaust...? i know there are the exceptions for custom shit. but a standard day to day job of mounting the same exhaust on standard cars...

Did you mount it? sorry if you did didn't mean to say your shit. because if it comes ####ed regardless what you do its ####ed. so my appoligies. just thought the xforce shop made/mounted it. sorry.

Good info to know that. all my exhaust have been custom and nothing off the shelf. my one on my SV6 cost me... 2.7k (ish) and its mild steel with cermaic coated pacie headers.

yeah i prolly got ripped... but its exactly how i want it and i love it.

    Cheers

Ehh, Pacemaker systems cost $3000ish so 2700 isn't too bad. (fugged if i'd ever pay $3000 for an exhaust system though)

And yeah, my pacemaker system is stainless.

    I have XForce.

That is, until my bank balance grows so I can get it changed.

I dont have reliability issues. It fits properly. It was cheap.

It just ......... doesnt sound that good. Cant describe it. But I'm unhappy. As since I have to drive the car for 1.5-2hours every day for work, I'm willing to pay a price premium to get oe I like.

Reccomendations? I Drive a VE SSV btw.
