Default Where do you buy ignition leads from...?

This may sound like a stupid question but hear me out..
I always sourced genuine leads for vehicles in the past when it was cost efficient. Most often it was cheaper to get a full set from Repco for the same price of a single genuine lead.
Bursons is now in qld and dont stock eagle or top gun brands and only do standard sizes.

If you wanted to source say 9 or 10mm leads from an ignition supplier even at trade they're often costly for an extra 1 or 2 mm in diameter.
Ebay is full of overpriced options or at least the same as retail.

So hence my question where have you found is the best place to buy non genuine larger diameter or standard ignition leads?

    Thanks for the input.

Hey no I dont really need them that's right but when people want them, I always find them expensive for what they are from most suppliers.
I did used to buy them before because they were the only wider diameter I could find. Every little bit helps. Especially if you had points.. ugh.
Now I think it's cheper to get them made up at the end of the day.

I had a set on the car for 12 years till I sold it. They were still just fine.

the only think is that these 8.5mm and 9mm leads is they often have crappy internal windings. so even though they are fatter, they cant carry as much current. which i suppose doesnt matter on a stock igntion system

Im pretty sure the only difference is the insulation not wire inside the different thickness is just for how harsh the engine environment is (heat ect)

I'll be buying my next set of leads from http://www.jegs.com/ as they seem to be pretty cheap on there. Not sure how much delivery would cost, but if you get a few things you need/want it could make it worthwhile?

No dout your right bout that there would be slight difference between brands its just the difference between say 8mm and 10mm is just insulation
