converting adventra to rear wheel drive

Hi. New to this forum.
I have a vy lx8 adventra and want to convert it to rear wheel drive only.
Has any body done this before?? I'm capable of doing the job myself just not sure if I have to change the box and computer or not.
Any info would greatly appreciated.

Taking the front diff centre would stop it - but for the computer side of things - you would need to get some one with the programming know how to stop the car sending "no drive" errors to the ECU.

I'm guessing a few people may try this to reduce fuel and possibly expensive repair bills as the cars enter the "old" stage of a cars usefull life span.
