    Default octane booster?

i might be buying a vs ss with an L98 and 6spd in it. its cammed making just over 400rwhp and tuned for 98 octane fuel.

now my problem is where i live the best fuel we've got is 95 octane vortex (work and home is 400k apart. i spend the majority of my time away working where 98 is plentiful, getting back home every 2nd wkend)

now if i get stuck and have to fuel up with 95, are these octane boosters, or toluene, any good to use occasionally? can they hurt anything with extended use?

i realize the LS motors have knock sensors to keep it safe but i would like to feed it the appropriate octane if at all possible.

4 banger turbos with bov's will just cry when they hear it, because they can never have it.

i use octane booster every so often in my super6 m8 and never had a prob(apart from extra kick lol)...you can get a RACE formula octane booster which adds an extra 8 units so with 95 you'd still be running about 100+, also you can get the normal octane booster which still gives about 3-5 units extra so in theory you'd sit at 98+ octane..heres 2 that i have used before m8 and get them at just about every servo, should get ya out of trouble

Using 95 in it occasionally won't hurt it.
