hey everyone a few mates and i just bought a vh 4 speed running the blue 202 we plan on setting it up for a burnout car we planned on dropping a large 8 into it but as we all are on our P's we would have to trailer it everywhere and thought of a rb30 out of a vl and running a turbo kit someone even suggested to-do the blue 202 up any thoughts would be appreciated

    thanks tom

RB engine requires a mod plate, mod plate requires a full licence to drive. therefore pretty much any mods you do are gonna mean she needs to get carted around on a trailer till you get fully licenced.

So does that mean an injected 5ltr requires a mod plate?

If the engine wasn't a standard option for the car you'll need 1

yes, technically it does. a 308 doesnt though. you can "get away" with an injected, but i am pretty sure the law says that cos' the car wasnt fitted with that engine factory, then it needs to be checked by an engineer.

Not to mention the fact you cant run a turbo on your P's either.
