weight deference????????

hi, does anyone know if there is a weight deference between a 4cyl vk and a 6cyl one? i only mean weight deference in the body from factory, not obviously the motor deference .

reason for asking. i have a vk currently running a 186 with xa falcon carb, but the car used to have a 4 cyl. and the thing seems to have more balls than it should haha.

vk didnt come with a 4cyl as far as i know,only upto vh did,as for weight difference,they would be exactly the same,maybe a calais would be slightly heavier due to extra options over an executive etc

the NZ VK came out with a 4cyl

The only difference in weight of the body structures was in the sound deadening between L1, L2 & L3 (ie SL/Exec, Berlina, Calais). All steel work was the same. As above - no 4 cyl VK's in the Australian market but they had them for export.
