Shift kits

Hi,

New guy here, just bought my second VN SS, and had a question about shift kits. I have done a search about them, and can find plenty of info about them, ie, stage 2 and 3, and how they work, but cant seem to find an answer to my question.

Obviously it is possible to change from a stage 3 back to a stage 2, but I notice that the info on the kit says the one kit does either, so is this a simple modification to change back from 3 to 2? I understand that the valve body would needed to have been drilled to make the stage 3 work, but how easy is it to go backwards? Do I need a complete new kit?

Im not 100% certain, but it may only be able to be modified from stage 2 to 3 and not stage 3 to stage 2. I think if you want stage 2 again you would require a new kit.

Cheers mate, thats what I thought would be the case. As it turns out, the car in question actually had a stage 2 anyway, so the question has become academic, but good to know.
