    Default Extractor Question

    Hi All

Have an extractor question. I have a 06 VZ LS2 6 Litre Clubsport. My kids have just brought me a set of Genie Extactors for it. Was wondering your opinion on the Genies for my car. I can recall as a young bloke that Genies were all the go. Any thoughts ??

If you do a search I'm sure you'll find plenty of info. But yeah, as far as I'm aware they are one of the best brands. I certainly wouldn't be complaining. You going to fit them yourself? Have you replaced the rest of the exhaust?

Whilst they are great extractor manufacturers, if the extractors are the 1.5" or 1.625" primary pipe 4-1 tuned length headers (P/N 007et / 008et), they will not provide much over the stock exhaust manifolds. If they are the 1.625" primary, 2" secondary Tri-Ys (P/N 001et), they'll be fine.

The 6lt engines do like to breathe, so if you are going to fit extractors, it is best to go larger than the oem manifolds to achieve what you are looking for.

I have had a few cars with Advance headers and they seemed just as good as the Genie's performance wise
