I just got a new vl today and the power windows arent working accept for the front passenger side, other wise the car goes great has anyone got any ideas before I have a look tommroe thanx Pete

Try the window switch - possibly a loose common or three broken switches. Do they work from the door switches or not at all?

I agree, the power window switches are extremely senstive, ever a little bit of cigarette ash could make the switch malfunction

It has 4 switchs in the cosole and the pas front works fine, the driver side makes a small noise when trying to put up and the back do nothin, What do you mean door switches thanx

The switches on each door that winds them down, like each door has it's own switch on the door itself that you control the window with

The back doors have switches and there not workin either, any ideas

Try using a different main switch in the console, just some ideas
first thing i'd do is change the window fuse and look for obvious loose connections
otherwise it might be a trip to the auto electricians for you

try giving the bottom of the door cards a slight jab or 2 - while pressing the switch
