URGENT New Manual conversion! URGENT

Well the car is running fine and great but this is happening!

It seems to be a wrong crossmember or SOMETHING I'm not too sure.. I can't drive it with the knob or console in, but I can without it. Drives great but obviously alot better if i could control my windows, and have it so i'm not hitting my damn hands!
Any help would be GREAT
take the shaft out and get an s bend in it or replace it with one that already has one in it and problem solved.

Short wont help as when the console is in i can't even hit first as the shaft hits it.
Where do you think i could use a shifter that bends back? What model?
Some people have said Ford ones, but haven't said which.
is the gearbox out of a vy?? cause if you used the shifter that came with that i cant see how you would be having that problem
Gearbox was out of a VX, it's all good it's all fixed. The fkn shifter was bolted up backwards LOL.
Well I don't know how the mechanic did it haha, but yeah something simple made a big problem.. I'm just glad it's solved!

Also cost $880 for the brand new clutch + flywheel setup (retail was $1680)..
$550 labour is cheap though, and the thing is i got supplied all the wrong items (wrong wiring loom, broken bits all over.. etc) But the mechanic is the one i went to for the cam and shit, he did an extra 4 hours labour and didn't charge me for it.. So yeah.. Without the right loom he had to re-wire reverse switches and stuff.
If you get a conversion, make sure you get one with everything in tact, unlike the asses who sent me the shit with half of it broken because they were too lazy to take it off the car properly, and supply the wrong loom. (and they gave me warranty so they're ####ed)
So all up, cost me about $3000. But it's a brand new clutch etc so depends how you wanna do it. I also went and bought a brand new boot + knob for it so everything is brand new haha.

Haha yeah man, it's crazy.. I got it to spin in 4th and it wasn't on purpose.. Big difference lol. (wet obviously it's not a 400RWKW xD)
