Buying an air compressor
Hey guys
Just a quick question about air compressors. Super Cheap have this one Blackridge Air Compressor - Direct Drive, 2.5HP - Supercheap Auto Australia on sale with a 50 piece air tool kit and 20m of air hose for $179 starting tomorrow.
Is it any good for any kind of car related work? It won't be heavily used, just a now and then thing.

It will run some tools ok, and some not. Air ratchet, air drill, etc, yes. Decent air impact gun or spray gun, no.
Now theoretically it will run the bigger tools, but you will get a short burst before you have to wait for the compressor to fill the tank back up.
But for $150, sure, why not.
