I am having a problem with my VY berlina A/C ,it works on all speeds but no cold air comes out .It has been to holden and they cannot find the problem . They want to change the whole module (not sure what you call it ) the part that you are looking at when you adjust your settings .
Is there anything else i can check ?Oh and by the way it is climate control
shaun
have you tried re-gassing the aircon? dunno if they checked it or whatever but could be the problem
Yes that was the first step at the a/c mechanics then they sent me to thenholden dealer from there and still not fixed . They tell me that the computer (something like that ) thinks it is like -20 degrees and it will not allow it to get cold problem is they do not know why , and do not want to order the parts in without knowing What the problem is . .......driving me nuts
I have no idea of part names but the part that goes from the engine bay into the car ( block shaped thing) it is cold if that helps
Is there something wrong with the sensor? to me that sounds like the cheapest part to start replacing
Although with the computers and stuff i figured holden would be able to identify the problem
Sounds like the evaporator temp sensor, this tells the computer how cold the evaporator is. If it thinks its -20 then it wont pump refridgerant through it which is why no cold air comes out.
Sensor on its own should be able to be replaced, no need to replace any modules.
