DID I HEAR THAT 2JZ-GTE in a VN??

A couple months ago, im not to sure but i think i saw a VN here with a 2JZ-GTE engine (Twin Turbo engine for the 1993+ Toyota Supra)?

AM i right or was i seeing things?

Ok heres some pics of the VN wagon with what i THINK is a 2JZ (im not really into jap stuff so its only a guess as it says Toyota on the front and its a straight six by the looks and its a twin turbo):

that is a 2JZ-GTE as suspected. there is also a VP ute running around with one too, pulls quick times at the track as far as i know.....they are an awesome engine...even the 1J's are strong

The supras are 206kw arent they? So it would be about the same in the VN? probably more because it would need a custom exhaust so the guy woulda gone for a complete system logically...

i reckon the colour is awesome, its something different i guess...would you rather it white like the other 70% of wagons around? it is a ###n cool car, dont like the taillights though, the contrast too much... dark tinted lights wouldve made it look super smooth.

hi guys thats my wagon and yeah it is a 1jz. makes close to 300rwhp now and just purchased a new manifold external gate and turbo should go on in the next coupla weeks. hoping for high 300rwhp. thanks for all your great comments. cant please everyones opinions but i think the colour is sweet.

thats the thing your not out to please others mate, just yorself. i like the colour. Nice conversion, 1 Jizza is a sweet motor.
