Default Be Careful of "Package Deals"

My mates brother-in-law recently bought a blower kit ready to install thru one of the larger Aussie companys for his BF XR8.- i know...blue shit.

ANYWAY,.......... the kit was installed by the suggested business/workshop, then tuned at a mighty 2 p.s.i. !!!

The "kit" was not ready for the BF due to Euro emission standards that frord have met, making it useless.

After 4months of fixing & dyno work thru another workshop, its now running at 7 psi, with abit more grunt. Still cant catch the SS next door !

My main concern, is that this may happen to our LS1/LS2/304 brothers & sisters !

Before anyone asks, I cant mention the name of the company, but it shouldt be hard to figure out !!!

The reason it still cant catch the SS next door... is the blue oval badges on the front and rear

Did they tell him that the kit was ok for a BF though? Obviously ya cant just go buying any kit without knowing if it will suit your car or not..
